info

Clay earrings are made with non-toxic polymer clay. Pressed flower earrings are crafted with Canadian-grown flowers, mostly from Alberta, set in resin. I do not use flowers that have been artificially dyed.

In sourcing materials for my earrings, I choose to support other Canadian small businesses whenever possible.

Metal components, such as hooks, posts and jump rings, are hypoallergenic, nickel- and lead-free. Gold pieces are 14k gold plated over sterling silver. Silver pieces are white gold plated over sterling silver or surgical stainless steel. Plated metals may eventually tarnish, however, with care this shouldn’t be an issue for many years even with daily wear.

Some styles include raw brass accents.

care

Avoid wearing earrings while showering, swimming, or applying hair products or perfume. If a piece becomes dirty, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. If brass tarnishes, it can be cleaned with a buffing file, metal polisher, or DIY solution of salt, vinegar + flour.

Store jewellery in a cool dry spot to prevent scratches and preserve colours. Take care not to drop earrings — they are durable, but still delicate. Avoid opening/closing jump rings which can lead to metal fatigue and breakage. Due to differences in screens/displays, colours viewed online may differ from that of the actual products.
